Your mission

  • Support the Risk Management department in the implementation, maintenance and further development of existing risk management policies and procedures in connection with market, liquidity, credit, counterparty, valuation and operational risks for AIFs
  • Carrying out comprehensive analysis and control tasks in the area of risk management
  • Developing risk profiles for managed investment assets, setting risk limits for defined key risk indicators and monitoring compliance with these limits
  • Monitoring legal, contractual and internally defined investment limits
  • Preparing risk management reports for the Executive Board, the Board of Directors and the CSSF supervisory authority as well as other stakeholders
  • Maintaining the risk management system, the associated interfaces and the associated workflows
  • Assisting in the execution of transaction reviews as part of the investment process for alternative investments (real estate equity, real estate debt, infrastructure, private equity, fund of funds)
  • Preparation and quality assurance of regulatory and investor-specific reports

Your profile

  • Completed studies in economics, law or business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience of at least 3 years in the area of risk management for AIFs
  • Experience in the real estate equity and real estate debt asset classes is expected
  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for Luxembourg management companies for AIFs and UCITS (e.g. CSSF 18/698, AIFMD Law 2013) 
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, reliability and the ability to work in a solution-oriented and independent manner 
  • Fluency in written and spoken German
