Announcement: Empira Group Acquires Portfolio in Berlin for Transition-to-Green Strategy and Comprehensive Energy Modernization

Empira Group proudly announces the acquisition of six multifamily and mixed-use properties in Berlin’s Neukölln, Kreuzberg, and Wedding districts. This acquisition, part of the Empira Group’s Transition-to-Green Strategy, includes approximately 400 units with a total rental space of 32,000 square meters.

Located in high-demand areas, these properties currently do not meet modern energy standards. As part of our strategy, Empira Group will modernize these buildings to enhance energy efficiency and reduce CO₂ emissions, with renovations starting immediately.

“This acquisition is a key milestone for our Transition-to-Green Fund,” says Ralf Morisse, Head of Transactions at Empira Group. “We aim to transform inefficient buildings into sustainable assets, significantly contributing to CO₂ reduction in the real estate sector.”

Empira continues to set new standards in sustainable real estate transformation and plans to expand its portfolio in the coming months. The acquisition and modernization are financed by BerlinHyp and KfW loans.
