Your mission

  • Close and independent assessment of investment opportunities in the context of whole loan and mezzanine financing as well as assessment of property and company risks
  • Development of creative solutions when examining investment opportunities for the optimal use of existing investment vehicles 
  • Support in the restructuring and processing of commercial real estate financing or corporate financing with value optimization
  • Coordination of internal and external project participants (main responsibility after completion of the term sheet)
  • Risk assessment and preparation of investment recommendations for the investment committee and development of decision papers for the management and other committees
  • Conducting negotiations with borrowers, lawyers and other external service providers
  • Preparation, negotiation and conclusion of loan and collateral agreements
  • Support with reporting/controlling tasks
  • Communicating with business partners in German and English in Germany and abroad

Your profile

  • Degree in economics with a focus on finance (i.e. Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance & Banking, Accounting & Controlling)
  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in the field of commercial real estate financing, banking or investment banking
  • Knowledge of modeling business plans and financial models
  • High affinity for numbers and MS Excel, analytical skills and results orientation with a desire to learn and succeed
  • Mature organizational skills (planning, coordination and time management) 
  • Confident and convincing appearance
  • Structured, independent, committed and team-oriented way of working
  • Very good written and spoken English skills desirable
